What is Crossfit? You may of heard about it, but don’t know exactly what it is. A technical definition is CONSTANTLY VARIED FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENTS PERFORMED AT HIGH INTENSITY. Now after reading that you may be more confused than you were before starting to read this post. A simpler definition, and how I describe it to people, is it’s a type of workout program where the workouts are always changing so that way your body does not get used to doing the same thing over and over again.
Changing the workouts around helps you to constantly get stronger and not get stuck doing the same amount of weight. I used to just go to the gym to lift weights, but that got boring to me just walking around the weight room and doing a set of something here and there. Eventually I quit going to the gym because it was not fun anymore and I just lost interest.
